AssetWorX is a powerful network-asset reporting and administration tool, developed to assist domain administrators in their daily management tasks. AssetWorX can be run by anyone who has a domain account with domain administrative privileges, and who has only some very basic domain administrative skills and understanding. It takes about 1 minute to install, and about 3 minutes to configure, and then you can start collecting valuable data from client computers and servers, whether over your LAN or WAN connections. There is no need to rollout any agents to the computers on your network, and AssetWorX allows for data collection over extremely slow network connections. It takes less than 15 minutes to collect data from a 100 computers in a LAN environment.
AssetWorX collects hardware, software and system configuration data from the domain computers, and saves it to a central MS Access database. Once the data is collected and saved to the Relational database, you can view this data through more than 70 pre-configured reports in the AssetWorX Reports Console. You can also easily create custom reports, by using the very intuitive MS Access report & query wizards, and then view these new custom reports from the AssetWorX Reports Console.
